Dr. Keeler established this award in 1934. The plaque is very large wooden plaque consisting of a bronze emblem portraying the circa-1930 Chiropractic Angel Emblem. Its inscription reads:

It signifies that the recipient, by thought, effort, unselfish labor and achievement, has advanced his profession and retained an abiding interest in mankind and the practical application of his professional knowledge to the many ailments that mankind is heir to, and during the years engraved on its face has exceeded all others in this regard. It is a work of distinction and honor, as well as a token of respect and esteem fellow members have for on whose accomplishments are outstanding. This Emblem is bestowed in the name of its author and represents a noble profession engaged in healing the sick and relieving distress."
