Born February 14, 1904, Shreveport, Louisiana. Became interested in chiropractic when a boy after having seen his father’s health restored through chiropractic, when all other methods had failed.
Immediately upon completion of high school he enrolled in the Palmer School of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. He graduated November 9, 1923 with the Degree of Doctor of Chiropractic. He was awarded the E.E.C. Degree by the Texas Chiropractic College in April, 1950. In 1961 was made a Fellow of the International College of Chiropractors and the Degree of F.I.C.C. was conferred upon him. He attended the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic for [a two year course of study in] the years 1929,1930,1931.
He was married in 1929 to Charlotte Priscilla Donnelly of El Paso, Texas. Three children were born – Richard, Jo Anne and Harvey, Jr.
He practiced in Big Spring, Texas and in Longview, Texas where he is Chief of Staff of the Kennedy Chiropractic Clinic. His associates are Drs. Noah R. Batchelor and James C. Lovell. He is a member of the First Christian Church of Longview, the Longview Kiwanis Club, the Elk’s Club, Pinecrest Country Club, Longview Masonic Bodies and Hella Temple Shrine of Dallas. He is a Democrat.
Throughout his professional career he has been a member of the Universal or National Chiropractic Association. In Texas a member of the Texas State Chiropractic Association. As a member of this organization he has served as secretary and president of his District, as chairman of Legislative Committee four times and was chairman of this committee when the Chiropractic Law was enacted. Served on Public Relations Committee where he is serving at the present time. Was a State Director from his District for more than sixteen years during which time he was Chairman of the State Convention twice. Served as vice-president and two terms as president of the state association.
He was awarded the Keeler Plaque in 1940 for outstanding service to chiropractic that year. In 1941 he was primarily responsible for the founding of the Chiropractic Science Club of East Texas and has served as secretary and president of that society.
In 1959 he was appointed to the Board of Chiropractic Examiners by Governor Price Daniel for a six year term.
He is dedicated to the service of humanity.

Harvey Henry Kennedy was born on 14 February 1904, in Shreveport, Caddo, Louisiana, United States. He married Charlotte Donnelly in Juarez, Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 1 daughter. He lived in Los Angeles, Los Angeles, California, United States in 1930 and Justice Precinct 1, Gregg, Texas, United States in 1940. He died on 20 April 1988, in Longview, Gregg, Texas, United States, at the age of 84, and was buried in Longview, Gregg, Texas, United States.
