WELCOME to the History Committee’s Chiropractic History Pages

During the past year the History Committee has developed a history web page.  It is NOT a highly polished website…YET.  Rather it is a repository of resource information that any organization needs to know to not loose their history to time.

We have reached the point where we are ready to start building the history of chiropractic in Texas from the point where Dr. Rhodes leaves off in his book in the mid 1970s, nearly 50 years ago. We desire you to make this resource available to those who have an interest.

We currently have posted in its entirety Dr. Walter Rhodes’ book The Official History of Chiropractic in Texas; The book of biographies of Keeler Award Recipients; a roster of every TCA Past President; a roster of every Young Chiropractor of the Year Recipient;  various articles on chiropractic and medical history; chiropractic milestones sorted by decade, and more.

The site is mobile device friendly but, if you desire,  it can be viewed as a desktop site by clicking View Web Version at the bottom of a page.

This will be an ever growing library of history resources.  It will be updated and improved almost weekly.   We will work with the board of directors as well as your districts, and perhaps other interested chiropractic organizations, so that they may also deposit some of their significant chiropractic milestones in our Chiropractic Chronicles moving forward.

For now, however, we just want to make you aware of it, allow you to start snooping around, make suggestions for betterment, and devise ways that we can make use of this resource going forward.
